Biography

In 1969, Véronique Barrillot was born in Lyon.
In 1981, a drawing teacher in middle school told her,
“I could never teach you to draw.” She would go on to become a self-taught painter.
In 1990, she took a road trip across the United States.
In 1994, she settled in Dijon.
In 2010, she exhibited her first mural in Dijon.
In 2013, she was the only French artist to exhibit at Five Pointz in New York.
In 2015, she created her first quantum painting, “Malaise dans la Civilisation”.

In 2017, she received the Jean-Charles Hachet Prize, a major contemporary art award
in Paris, and created her first personalized quantum work on commission.
In 2018, she opened her studio on Rue Charrue in Dijon.
In 2020, she exhibited « Vol au bout de la Nuit ».
Avion Aéropostale vs A. de Saint- Exupéry
In 2022, she opened a permanent representation in the United States and
Switzerland.
In 2023, she exhibited at the Chapelle des Elus in Dijon and entered the permanent
collection at the Gold Coast Center in New York.
In 2024, she exhibited at Palm Beach Haven Gallery, New York, Lausanne, Assens,
and Martigny (under the patronage of the Gianadda Foundation).
In 2025 she entered the Parisian art scene.
